When Altseason sir? 🥸

Goood Morning,

This week, there is a possibility that BTC might reach its ATH.

If you managed to get this far: Congratulations! 🥳

If not, don't succumb to FOMO. ⚠️

The crypto market always presents opportunities.

  • How to profit: Crypto cycles trends

  • Spot Ethereum ETF is next on the list

  • 4 things you should know

Ever heard about the best time to jump into the market?

It's when things are starting to look up, but not everyone's convinced yet.

Warren Buffett kinda nailed it with his advice about being cautious when everyone's going all-in and taking a chance when they're backing off.

Understanding the cycle

BTC is the most dominant cryptocurrency, while ETH leads the altcoin market.

ETH's role as a barometer for altcoins due to its smart contract functionality and large development community.

  1. Ethereum's influence on altcoins

    • ETH's price movements signal broader altcoin market trends.

    • many altcoins are built on Ethereum or rely on it for liquidity, linking their fortunes to ETH's performance.

  2. Market psychology

    • investors often view ETH's performance as indicative of the altcoin market's health.

    • a strong performance by ETH leads to increased demand for altcoins, while a decline may signal bearish sentiment.

  3. Altcoin season

    • Altcoin season is defined by a period when altcoins outperform Bitcoin, often preceded by bullish sentiment towards ETH.

    • the criteria for Altcoin Season involve a significant portion of the top 50 coins outperforming Bitcoin over a set period.

  4. How investors behave

    • investors rotate profits from BTC to ETH and then to smaller altcoins in search of higher returns.

    • monitoring the price movements of BTC and ETH is crucial for timing investments in the altcoin market.

To put it simple and straightforward 👆️

  • BTC → ETH → (usually) Top 50 coins → altcoins

💡 So, here's the skinny: Bitcoin's the king, but Ethereum's the one throwing the real parties in Crypto Town.

When Ethereum starts doing the moonwalk, it's a sign that the altcoin fiesta is about to start.

Spot Ethereum ETF is next on the list

So, you know how Bitcoin ETFs are all the rage?

People think Ethereum would be next.

Who’s optimistic?

BlackRock's move into Bitcoin ETFs showed how big players are getting involved, hinting at inevitable approval.

Many experts and authorities, including SEC and Bloomberg’s ETF analysts, view Ether as a commodity, which could ease its path to ETF approval.

Survey shows 98% of financial advisers planning to maintain or increase crypto exposure in 2024.

Chris Kuiper from Fidelity suggests Ether might be more appealing to institutional investors than Bitcoin due to its straightforward investment metrics.

Who’s pessimistic?

Jake Chervinsky, a wise crypto lawyer, thinks the SEC's going to be a party pooper for Ethereum ETFs.

Why?

→ because saying "yes" could make the SEC's political life messy. They've bent the rules before to keep things smooth.

→ he predicted that the SEC would reject Ethereum ETF applications to retain market oversight (maybe because they haven’t filled their bags yet).

→ 🦁 he pointed out that the approval of the Bitcoin ETF has boosted market enthusiasm, a phenomenon known as "animal spirits," where prices are driven more by emotional reactions than by the actual value, thus another ETF could take this to a new level.
