This Man Takes Stand Today To Prove He Is the Creator of Bitcoin
Imagine someone claiming to be the mysterious artist behind a world-famous painting, but never showing any sketches or proof.
Craig Wright is in the UK High Court to prove he's Bitcoin's creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. 😀
He says he's the creator, but the art world, or in this case, the crypto community, is skeptical.
JUST IN: Craig Wright has to appear in High Court today after claiming to be Satoshi for YEARS,
Richard Heart was the first to call him out for his lies! Today Craig has to prove he is Satoshi or be labelled a fraud forever.

💡 Individuals have been speculated or claimed to be Bitcoin's creator
Nick Szabo, known for his work on smart contracts;
Dorian Nakamoto, who was mistakenly identified;
Hal Finney, an early Bitcoin contributor;
Wei Dai, known for B-money;
Adam Back, creator of Hashcash;
Craig Wright, who has made direct claims;
Vili Lehdonvirta, a researcher in digital economies
Each of these individuals has either denied being Nakamoto or their claims have been met with skepticism.
COPA
The Crypto Open Patent Alliance has one mission: to diminish the impact of patents and legal disputes on the cryptocurrency industry.
But get this: on January 24th, Wright tried to slide COPA a peace deal, kind of like saying "Let's not fight?".
But COPA was like "Nope!" and spilled the beans about it on X (you know, the app we used to call Twitter).
Hard pass on that "settlement."
Just like Craig Wright forges documents and doesn't quite tell the truth, his description of the settlement offer isn't quite accurate either - it comes with loopholes that would allow him to sue people all over again.

But, what does ChatGPT have to say about this? 😀 – Yes, people have asked the most famous AI who’s the real creator.
🥇 Our trusty chatbot has put on its statistical thinking cap and crowned Nick Szabo as the top contender, with Hal Finney and Craig Wright following closely behind.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson critiques Bitcoin L2, sparks crypto debate
Having been around for more than ten years, I have seen this narrative thrice. It follows the halving.
Every L2 venture will learn that it's impossible because Bitcoin cannot change enough to support the things required for a vibrant L2 environment. Both Ethereum and Cardano… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

So, Charles Hoskinson's throwing a little crypto shade, saying Bitcoin's L2 game isn't quite up to par with the cool kids, Ethereum and Cardano. 🥷
At the Satoshi Round Table conference in Dubai, he spills the tea on why he thinks Bitcoin's a bit of a snail.
Hoskinson points to Cardano's shiny new toys like Plutus V3 and its cool sidekicks, Mithril and Hydra, as the stuff of legends.
💡 Cardano Plutus V3
⇾ more complex dApps
⇾ leverages open-source contributions
⇾ transactions can carry custom data & conditions
⇾ merges on-chain and off-chain code (uses one language for both)
⇾ simplifies interactions between web browsers and the blockchain
Now, let’s talk a bit about Mithril and Hydra.
Mithril is a Layer2 solution – a magical way to make blockchain data light as a breeze so even your old smartphone can chat with the Cardano network without breaking a sweat;
Hydra, besides being a multi-headed beast, is also a Layer2 solution, with each head solving crypto puzzles at lightning speed.
Hydra splits up the heavy lifting of blockchain transactions across multiple heads, making everything faster than a squirrel on espresso.
Of course, as this is somehow a battle 🤺 proposed by ninja Charles Hoskinson, we shall share some Bitcoin L2 developments.
Notable Bitcoin L2 projects
Lightning Network (2018) – TVL: $214 million+
Stacks (2020) – TVL: $44.5 million+
Rootstock Infrastructure Framework (2018) – TVL: $117 million+
Liquid Network (2018) – TVL: $130 million+
Rollups are the latest addition to this toolkit, promising to bundle up transactions and streamline the process even further.
👉 Each Layer 2 solution brings its own flavor to the table, enhancing Bitcoin's utility and making it a more efficient, more accessible platform for the digital age.
As we look to the future, these Layer 2 solutions are not just optional extras but essential upgrades that will keep Bitcoin running smoothly, no matter how busy the network gets.
