MEME coins are pumping

Yesterday we talked about market cycle trends.

And today we can see it clearly.

💭 It started with Bitcoin, moved to Ethereum, then to.. meme-coins.

Meme coins are pumping like hell. 🔥

Vitalik Buterin's playing the wise grandpa in the crypto family, telling us not to go all-in on the meme coin bandwagon.

  • It's like everyone's obsessing over the newest shiny toy, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, while the real MVPs of crypto, the behind-the-scenes tech, are getting ghosted.

What’s Vitalik Buterin ‘shilling’ instead

👆️ To be read as categories of projects he considers under the radar and which are more important than dog coins.

  1. ENS names on L2

  2. proof-of-personhood & proof of community membership
(*y’all remember that proof of humanity thing)

  3. Supply chains for dApps

  4. Instant cross-L2 token transfer protocol

Did you know?

That Vitalik Buterin owns half of the SHIB token supply in one of his “dead wallets”?

Ryoshi, the creator of the MEME token, gifted 50% of the total minted SHIB supply to Buterin shortly after the token’s creation.

Bitcoin reaches ATH against EURO, GBP and other “Money Printer” Coins

After reaching ATH in more than 30 countries, against notable currencies like Chinese Yuan, Canadian Dollar and others, Bitcoin just dropped the mic again:

→ the king makes a new ATH against the oldest currency GBP — reaching 52,000 GBP

→ and a new ATH against EURO — reaching 61,000.

Bears beware: the recent surge in Bitcoin's price caused significant liquidations, especially of short positions, totaling over $80 million.

The overall crypto market saw $160 million in short position liquidations in 24 hours, contributing to $251 million across exchanges.

Wen USD, ser?

  • The Dollar Index, which measures USD strength, was up, indicating a strong U.S. currency.

  • Despite its rise, it's not hit its peak in USD yet, showing there's always a bigger fish, but don’t think it will take too long.

  • By the time I’m posting this, Bitcoin will surge past ATH (I bet my left lung).
